P90X Reloaded (round 2) – Days 64-70

Day 64 (Monday) Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and Ab Ripper X…..I did 209 total push-ups and 364 ab exercises.  GOOD MONDAY Y’ALL!

Day 65 (Tuesday) Plyometrics, including the bonus…..I kept up with Domi.  I’m sorry, but that guy bugs me!

Day 66 (Wednesday) Back & Biceps and Ab Ripper X…..79 total pull-ups and 364 ab exercises.  Protein shake time, baby! :)

Day 67 (Thursday) Yoga X…..I have a pretty full schedule today, so I only did the first 50 (killer) minutes.

Day 68 (Friday) Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X…..134 total pull-ups and 368 ab exercises!  Hulk-a-mania, for the 45 year old man!  :)

I completed a 40-minute bicycle ride of 10.5 miles.  My average speed was 16.1 MPH.  The temperature was near 100 degrees at 9:00 PM!  I rode to Lana’s for my birthday dinner and dessert, thanks for a great dinner and cupcakes!  :)

Day 69 (Saturday) Plyometrics, including the bonus…..I was supposed to do Kenpo X today, but I worked out with 702FitClub and we did Plyo.  I crushed Domi!  :)

I completed a 40-minute bicycle ride of 10.5 miles.

Day 70 (Sunday) Rest…..My 1st rest day ever, I’m so disappointed with myself.  :(   Hittin’ the weights tomorrow!

P90X Reloaded (round 2) – Days 60-63

Day 60 (Thursday) Yoga X……I hate late workouts, but I got it done!  I had a very full day today.  I only did the first 50 minutes of YX, but those are the toughest minutes.  :)

Day 61 (Friday) Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X…..I completed 126 total pull-ups and 366 ab exercises.  Curse you Balance Lunges!  P90X rules!

Day 62 (Saturday) Kenpo X…..Glorious 6:30 AM start to my day!

I completed a little 10-mile bicycle ride.  It was already too hot and it’s unusually humid today.  My legs were burnin’ a bit from Kenpo X.

Day 63 (Sunday) X Stretch…..Instead I did “One On One” With Tony Horton, Volume 2, disc 1 (Cardio Intervals).  OMG! I LOVE THIS STUFF!  So much FUN!!!  I felt like Tony and I were really working out together in his home.  I love the feel of these DVDs!  Try them, buy them, I HIGHLY recommend them!  Thanks for such a great gift, Lana.  :)

I completed a 10+ mile bicycle ride this morning, with a stop at Denny’s for breakfast with Lana.

P90X Reloaded (round 2) – Days 57-59

Day 57 (Monday) Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X…..So glad to be off Recovery Week and back to the business of my fitness!  I did 310 total push-ups, 62 total pull-ups and 364 ab exercises today.  I really feel like I brought it!

I completed a little 10+ mile bicycle ride to visit Lana.  The ride was half uphill and half downhill, with a nice average speed of 16.0.

Day 58 (Tuesday) Plyometrics…..Including the bonus round.  Tried to keep up with “Domi.” and did pretty well.  :)

Day 59 (Wednesday) Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X…..Including the bonus.  I did 74 total chair dips, 152 total side tri-rises and 364 ab exercises.

RECOVERY WEEK (Con’t)

Day 55 (Saturday) Yoga X…..Well, Yoga was Yoga.  Same killer 1st 50 minutes and Yoga Belly 7.

Day 56 (Sunday) X Stretch…..Instead of XS, I did a bicycle ride this morning, please see below for the thrilling details.  :)

I completed a 12+ mile bicycle ride this morning, with a stop at Denny’s for breakfast with Lana.

On a personal note…..I am counting down the days until I’m cage diving with Great White Sharks at Isla Guadalupe, Mexico.  I am driving to San Diego in 5 weeks for the boat. :)

P90X Reloaded (round 2) – Days 50-54

RECOVERY WEEK

Day 50 (Monday) Yoga X…..I was sweatin’ my butt off and my triceps burned somethin’ fierce from yesterday’s workout.  This is the first day of Recovery Week.

Day 51 (Tuesday) Kenpo X…..I was supposed to do Core Synergistics today, but did KX with the Fit Club.  There was a good turnout and I met a lot of new people.

Day 52 (Wednesday) Core Synergistics…..I switched CS and Kenpo X yesterday and today, back to the normal schedule tomorrow.  It’s too bad you only do CS during recovery week, because it’s a great workout!

Day 53 (Thursday) X Stretch…..Or as I like to call it, Mini Yoga X.  All my stuff is loose and flexible.  :)

Day 54 (Friday) Core Synergistics.  AGAIN!  Gotta love that plank/chatarunga action, NOT! Anyway, all done for the day. Sweet! :)

Day 47 (Friday) Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X…..118 total pull-ups and 362 ab exercises. I STILL HATE the Balance Lunges!

Day 48 (Saturday) Kenpo X…..Done!

I banged-out a 7:00AM 16+ mile bicycle ride.  Nasty wind out of the north, but still pretty enjoyable.

Day 49 (Sunday) X Stretch…..I did Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and Ab Ripper X to make-up for Monday, I told ya I’d do it.  200 total push-ups and 366 ab exercises.

I completed a 14-mile (errand) bicycle ride this AM.  Nice average speed of 15.2 with a huge climb.  The tunes were excellent today.  :)

P90X Reloaded (round 2) – Days 43-46

Day 43 (Monday) Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and Ab Ripper X…..I know I said I’d get back to my regular P90X schedule today, but I was still helping Lana move.  :(   I moved so much furniture and heavy boxes, it felt like a real workout.  It’s really bothering me that I didn’t do the workout on the “right” day, I hope to make-up for this workout this coming Sunday.

Day 44 (Tuesday) Plyometrics…..Including the bonus.  GREAT to be back to P90X!  I’m looking forward to hitting the weights tomorrow, haven’t since Friday.  :(

Day 45 (Wednesday) Back & Biceps and Ab Ripper X…..74 total pull-ups and 364 ab exercises, bring on the protein shake, Baby!

Day 46 (Thursday) Yoga X…..The first 50 minutes and the Yoga Belly 7 are killers!

P90X Reloaded (round 2) – Days 39-42

Day 39 (Thursday) Yoga X…..Okay kids, stay with me on this.  I flip-flopped tonight’s workout (YX) with Saturdays workout (Kenpo X).  The reason I did that is because our fitness group (702FitClub) met tonight and we did KX.  A good time was had by all in attendance.  Thank you very much to those who participated.  :)

I completed a little 10-mile bicycle ride. Even though very early (6:40 AM), still had my share of idiot-Vegas-drivers, oblivious to cyclists.

Day 40 (Friday) Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X…..112 total pull-ups and 360 ab exercises.  This is friggin’ week 6 of Round 2 and I still HATE Balance Lunges!

Day 41 (Saturday) Kenpo X…..Now you really have to stay with me on this explanation.  Remember I switched my Thursday and Saturday workouts because of 702FitClub?  Well, instead of doing Yoga X today, I helped Lana move, in the Vegas summer heat.  How’s that for a workout and a good time?  :)   Seriously, I’m so sure moving (including stairs) is way more strenuous than YX.  More of the same tomorrow, kids.

Day 42 (Sunday) X Stretch…..You got it, more moving in the extreme heat, and I have the bruises to prove it.  No XS today, but back to my official P90X workout tomorrow.  See you then!  :)
